This event was to celebrate the success of the grant application to insulate the village hall. There was tea and cakes followed by cheese and wine. Children were invited to make a room in a box by Ruth and Sarah, with some fantastic and inspiring results.
House-About is a play house made from a combination of recycled, re-usuable and sustainable materials. It is light and easy to transport and assemble. It is a small venue for exploring the possibilities offered by eco and low impact architecture and imaging a more sustainable future. A place for children to dream-in a new way of living through workshops, stories and play. A place for adults to meet and share their dreams of a closer, stronger and more sustainable community.
